Ram Truck Collision Repair: San Fernando Valley
XP Auto Center is an FCA US certified collision repair facility, the Stellantis program that covers Ram. Ram 1500, heavy duty and ProMaster repairs follow factory procedure, with authentic Mopar parts and factory-level diagnostics.
Certified for the trucks that work the Valley
Stellantis certifies collision shops for Ram based on the training, equipment, and factory procedures needed to repair current models. Training runs through I-CAR, and the shop has to show it uses factory repair procedures, with documented scans and calibrations on every job.
Ram trucks mix materials. The Ram 1500 uses a high-strength steel frame and cab with aluminum parts such as the tailgate and hood on many model years, and heavy duty trucks have boxed frames that need to be measured and pulled to factory dimensions. Bed-mounted sensors, trailer camera systems, and front radar all have to be checked after a repair.
Stellantis vehicles also need factory diagnostics. Many late-model Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles have a secure gateway that has to be authenticated before modules can be programmed or sensors calibrated. We use factory-level tooling, so the job does not stop at the bodywork and get sent to a dealer for the electronics.
Ram models we repair
Ram 1500
The most common Ram we repair. Bedsides, tailgates, bumpers, and cab corners, plus front radar and camera calibration.
Ram 1500 Classic
Older body style still common on job sites. Bed, bumper, and door repairs with the procedure for the exact year.
Ram 2500 & 3500
Heavy duty trucks with boxed frames. Frame measurement and straightening, bed and fender repairs, and rear camera calibration.
Ram TRX
High-performance off-road truck with wide fenders. Fender flare, bumper, and suspension-related body repairs.
ProMaster
Work vans. Side and rear door repairs, large-panel paint work, and rear sensor calibration. Ask about fleet scheduling.
Older Ram and Dodge Ram trucks
We repair earlier Ram and Dodge Ram trucks too, and we give honest repair-versus-total advice when the numbers are close.
Common Ram collision repairs
Bed and tailgate repair
Bedside dents, tailgate replacement, and bumper damage. Tailgate cameras and sensors are reinstalled and checked.
Frame measurement and straightening
Trucks go on the frame rack and get measured against factory dimensions. Heavy duty boxed frames follow the published repair limits.
Aluminum panel repair
Aluminum tailgates and hoods are repaired with dedicated tools and methods to avoid contamination and corrosion.
Sensor calibration
Front radar, forward camera, blind spot, and trailer camera systems need checks after collision work. Details on our ADAS calibration page.
Your car, your choice of shop
Under California Insurance Code §758.5 you have the right to choose your own repair shop, even if your insurer suggests another one. We handle the estimate, supplements, calibration documentation, and communication with your adjuster.
When a Ram repair procedure calls for OEM parts, we cite the factory procedure in the supplement so the right parts get approved. If your car is newer and the damage was structural, ask us about a California diminished value claim.
